I have been working with cameras since almost before I can remember. For more than half my life I have experimented with a number of tape, digital, and film formats.
My inspiration has come from many directors including Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Wes Anderson, and Quentin Tarantino, as well as the cinematography of Emmanuel Lubezki, Roger Deakins, and Ron Fricke.
I have also taken a deep interest in the ethnographic films of Robert Gardner, Tim Asch, and John Marshall.
On April 20, 1995 I shot my first video. I was 4 years old. It was an in-camera edit and I had entirely forgotten about it until it resurfaced amongst a pile of old family videos. Since before I can remember I have wanted to make movies. I have always voiced an affinity for visual expression.
Over the years my eye has changed in ways I could have never expected. I have decided to keep a backlog of reels here for anyone interested in the evolution of my work.
